Eduardo Viterbo

Ed is involved in the hospitality and manufacturing industry. He has been the Company Director since 1998 and is very passionate about his string of restaurants under the Quality Restaurants Group -- Mai Thai (in Victoria Street West and St. Heliers), Golden Silk (in Kumeu), Alo Alo Cafe, Grasshopper Restaurant (at the Stamford Plaza), Red Crab (in Ellerslie and Waiheke Island), and latest addition Thai Street Bistro (located in Wynyard Quarter). What started off as a simple family restaurant, with a vision to introduce Thai cuisine in New Zealand and to educate locals about Thai culture, has evolved into being a major player in the Auckland restaurant scene in just 10 years.

Ed earned his MBA from the University of Auckland and also holds an Engineering degree from the Philippines as well as a Business Administration degree from Victoria University in Wellington.
